Racing motorcycles since 60’s – Motocross, Enduro, Drag Racing, Road Racing, Hare Scrambles, Desert  – Right up through the age of 68…

Mechanical Engineering Consultant – Founded Carter Engineering, a consulting engineering firm, in 1984. Carter Engineering specializes in motorcycle testing, test & design analysis, accident reconstruction, product liability consulting and test equipment manufacturing.  Our business is worldwide – engagements have been in Canada, Thailand, Italy, and England as well as all over the U.S  –  Still working today…

Education – B.S. Mechanical Engineering – Auburn University – sponsored by the USAF.  M.S. Aeronautical Engineering – Air Force Institute of Technology – sponsored by the USAF.

Retired from US Air Force in 1987  –  21+ years service  –  Vietnam Vet: 1967-68-69.  Enlisted jobs:  Aircraft Mechanic, Aircraft Sheet Metal/Machinist, Surveyor, Draftsman, Civil Engineering Aide – Commissioned Jobs:  Flight Test Engineer, Research and Development Engineer.
