I am listening to:  Nothing – too windy – can’t hear…

Today I at least got off the interstate and rode secondary roads over to the Oklahoma City area.   However, in this area the secondary roads are not much more interesting than the interstates but at least the route through this area is better than going the Kansas route.  It was windy and hot again for this segment so I couldn’t listen to music due to the wind noise.  I think I am going to be shopping for a new quieter modular helmet or going back to my standard non-flip up Arai.

Allan Swartz and I communicated back and forth all day to co-ordinate meeting for dinner and we arrived just a few minutes apart.   Another great dinner with a friend and then I was off again over to Shawnee for the night so I would be clear of Oklahoma City.  I would not be able to visit the Seaba Station motorcycle museum on this return trip as they would be closed tomorrow.

So tomorrow’s plan is to ride that fine Talimena Scenic Drive again – it is a great road across the ridgetops of the Quachita Mountain Range.   It starts in eastern Oklahoma and runs into central Arkansas.  I plan to spend the night at Hot Springs, AR.
